Grand-Orly Seine Bièvre

The public territorial establishment (EPT) Grand-Orly Seine Bièvre was created on 1 January 2016 as part of the implementation of the Greater Paris metropolis. It includes 24 municipalities and is based on a principle of cooperation between the EPT and the municipalities around major development projects from digital to planning, to mobility, economic development, and housing.

Due to the strengthening of public policies in many such areas, the position of the Territory has risen in recent years. After Paris and La Défense, Grand-Orly Seine Bièvre is the third territory of the metropolis in terms of jobs (284,000 jobs in 2012, 7% of jobs in the metropolis). It also has a rich and diversified digital environment punctuated by the presence of many big tech companies and a large number of engineering and training facilities.
