The Upplands-Bro municipality on the outskirts of Stockholm (Sweden) is using artificial intelligence robots to support their recruitment process.
The municipality is facing recruitment challenges due to the pandemic, especially in the pool of subsitutes for care and welfare positions. To reduce the risk of contamination at the interview stage, the artificial intelligence robots are used to interview the potential new recruits.
Upplands-Bro will use Tengai robots which conduct data-driven automated interviews and are designed to provide candidate assessments. They are known for eliminating bias by removing human influence and claim to be seven times faster than a human recruiter.
