SoftUni Svetlina

Sofia will have the first private high school for IT and digital skills in Bulgaria. The school, SoftUni Svetlina, is a partnership between SoftUni - the largest educational centre for IT and digital technologies in Bulgaria - and "Svetlina" Elementary school - a school with 18 years of successful education experience.

The school will offer three courses starting in the autumn: Programming and Software Technologies; Graphic Design and Multimedia; and Digital Marketing and Entrepreneurship. All courses also include intensive English language learning classes.

The main aim of the school is to develop students' professional skills in the chosen specialty through a lot of practice and work with companies and professors from the industry, preparing them for real life employment or entrepreneurship.

Meanwhile, a decision on whether the American Academy of Blockchain will acquire SoftUni will be announced soon. At the beginning of the year, the Academy School of Blockchain, the world’s first accredited school for blockchain education and development, signed a strategic partnership with SoftUni for block trainings around the world. The first one will take place in Vietnam.

Founded in 2013, SoftUni is the largest private software university in Bulgaria and Eastern Europe’s leading provider of high quality IT development education. The partnership gives Sofia the opportunity to become a hub for blockchain and disruptive technology engineer trainings worldwide.
